Ulpan Israeli is a private Ulpan, we work in alliance with the Netanya Academic College, in Netanya. Our staff is highly skilled in teaching Hebrew as a second language, with vast experience. Our students are from all over the world, with all levels of Hebrew.

Our syllabus:
- Beginners: Introduction to the alphabet, first steps in reading and writing. Basic conversation skills. Past and present tenses. Adjectives and propositions. Texts and basic vocabulary in topics such as: family, food, health, travel etc.
At the end of the course, you should be able to:
- conduct a conversations on everyday issues
- Read easy text, news headlines and follow simple instructions
- Write short sentences
- Intermediate: Future tenses. Passive verbs and its usage. Syntax: conditional and unconditional sentences. Texts about places, history, locations etc. Vocabulary enrichment. Basic newspaper reading.
At the end of the course, you should be able to:
- Engage in daily conversation with relative ease
- Conduct a basic business conversation
- Read the newspaper and short stories.
- Write simple personal and business letters at speech level
- Advanced:
Verb’s conjugation improvement. Syntax knowledge improvement: sentences type and literature comprehension. Newspaper reading. Radio listening comprehension. Oral, reading and writing improvement.
At the end of the course, you should be able to:
- Speak fluently with a richer vocabulary and sentence construction
- Read and write business and academic papers independently
- Take an active part in board meetings and lectures
Our program is unique, not like any program you may know; this is due to our innovative program that includes exposure to the Israeli culture, a variety of teaching methods, songs, and virtual trips that allow you to get to know Israel.
Upon registration, you will be asked to take and entry exam in order to determine the student’s oral, reading and writing skills level.
