We are excited to announce that Ulpan Israeli – Center for Hebrew Language Studies is embarking on a new chapter! We are relocating our in-person learning programs to the esteemed Netanya Academic College, marking an exciting development for our students and faculty.

Our classes will now be held within the vibrant and intellectually stimulating environment of Netanya Academic College, fostering a rich academic experience. These courses will continue to be led by Ulpan Israeli’s dedicated team of professional and experienced instructors, ensuring the same high-quality Hebrew language education you have come to expect.

We offer courses at all levels, catering to the diverse needs of students both residing in Israel and joining us from across the globe. Whether you are a beginner taking your first steps in Hebrew or an advanced learner seeking to refine your skills, we have a program designed for you.

Our syllabus:

Beginners: Introduction to the alphabet, first steps in reading and writing. Basic conversation skills. Past and present tenses. Adjectives and propositions. Texts and basic vocabulary in topics such as: family, food, health, travel etc.

At the end of the course, you should be able to:

conduct a conversations on everyday issues
Read easy text, news headlines and follow simple instructions
Write short sentences
Intermediate: Future tenses. Passive verbs and its usage. Syntax: conditional and unconditional sentences. Texts about places, history, locations etc. Vocabulary enrichment. Basic newspaper reading.

At the end of the course, you should be able to:

Engage in daily conversation with relative ease
Conduct a basic business conversation
Read the newspaper and short stories.
Write simple personal and business letters at speech level
Advanced:

Verb’s conjugation improvement. Syntax knowledge improvement: sentences type and literature comprehension. Newspaper reading. Radio listening comprehension. Oral, reading and writing improvement.

At the end of the course, you should be able to:

Speak fluently with a richer vocabulary and sentence construction
Read and write business and academic papers independently
Take an active part in board meetings and lectures

Our program is unique, not like any program you may know; this is due to our innovative program that includes exposure to the Israeli culture, a variety of teaching methods, songs, and virtual trips that allow you to get to know Israel.

Upon registration, you will be asked to take and entry exam in order to determine the student’s oral, reading and writing skills level.

Passover Seder Jewish holiday has two educational areas: life experience and observance.

The Haggadah, a Jewish text that sets forth the order of the Passover Seder, conveys the message of life, and it is important to teach this message to our children.

Ulpan Israeli is an educational institution in Israel that emphasizes the use of the Hebrew language as a bonding and connection tool between generations.

We are excited to announce the opening of a beginner evening class, held twice a week on Sundays and Tuesdays from 5:00 PM to 7:30 PM. The class features a small study group with a professional teacher. We warmly welcome additional students to join.
